Success! A new nest to monitor and 2 new BABY EAGLES!

A visit to Blue Heron Preserve provided us with wonderful views of huge numbers of Black-bellied whistling ducks and other beautiful water birds.

‍ ‍ A visit to Riverbreeze Park in Oak Hill provided us with many wonderful sightings of some of Florida’s most iconic birds.

‍ ‍ We continue to monitor several Bald eagle nests to see if any will produce babies this year.

‍ ‍ Exploring more of Merritt Island and its varied habitat and wildlife.

We begin our nest monitoring with the location and documentation of three apparently active eagles nest within 20 minutes of home.

Great shore birds and a few raptors as we pay a visit to Shiloh Marsh in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
